A younge girl seeking her fathers attention, does something dramatic that would forever change her life. She falls in love with a boy, not knowing if he would like her back, she finds her self face to face with the thought of ridding her gift. ***** I think it would be fair to say that after you read this you will walk away appreciating what makes you unique. 🙂
The Seers Destiny
Another great book by Aubrie filled with amazing messages. A fortune teller, tells people to accept their life the way it is. There are so many things going on within these pages, and you grow with the characters. A few times I really had to stop and think, “What would I have said or done if I were in their shoes?” *****

on:1. Where did this story idea come from?
The story is based on a screenplay I wrote for the 2005 Shot in Philadelphia Screenwriting Contest. The screenplay, which I titled “The Fetch,” ended up as a contest finalist that year. (“Fetch” is another name for Doppelganger according to Irish folklore.) The screenplay told the story of a schoolteacher who was falsely accused of a murder that was actually committed by her double. One of the comments I received from the judging panel was that they would have liked to see more of a police investigation. So I added Frank and Holly, paranormal investigators, to the novelized version.
2. How much research went along with writing this book?
I did most of the research while I was writing the original screenplay. The character of Emma, the schoolteacher, is based on the story of Emilie Sagee, a French teacher from the mid-1800s. She taught at a school for girls in what is now Latvia. Rumor had it that she could be seen in two places at the same time. There is a story that one day she was teaching a lesson at the chalkboard, and her double appeared right beside her, mimicking her writing motions, without the chalk. She was also observed with her double in the school gardens and during dinner. It’s even said that some of the girls actually walked right through the doppelganger!
3. What would you say the message is behind this book?
By juxtaposing two such seemingly level-headed investigators, Frank and Holly, with the strange events at the Gracewynne School, I’d have to say the message is “keep an open mind, because things aren’t always what they seem to be.”
4. Did you get stuck anywhere while writing this book? How did you push through it?
I got stuck in the middle of the screenplay version. For me the second act is the longest and always the most difficult to get through. I believe it was Dove Chocolate and Dunkin’ Donuts coffee that got me through it.
6. Do you have any other books published or any other WIP’s?
I have another completed paranormal screenplay which I used as a basis for NANOWRIMO a couple of years ago. Somewhere on my computer I have a hastily written 50,000-word novel just waiting to be rewritten. I also enjoy writing flash fiction from prompts.
7. What would you say is very important to your writing?
These days I like taking everyday characters and imagining how they’d react and adapt confronted with the strange and paranormal.

My Review
I have to say that the beginning caught me off guard, They, Holly and her husband, live in separate states most of the year. Then as the story of Emma Ward unfolds so does their relationship. At times I did not know whether this case would bring them closer together or more distant. When you draw near the end you are torn in a few different directions and left for awhile not knowing what to think. I really enjoyed this book as well as the way Caitlin chooses her words. You can say heart breaking, mind blowing as well as a book that will make you sit and think when you describe this book! 4 out of 5 stars!!

Little Hearts Orphanage has always been a safe haven for ‘special’ individuals. Azura, the headmistress, has gone to great lengths to ensure the resident’s true abilities remain secret from those who would exploit them. Her mantra: The secret must be protected at all costs.
That’s where Marlena comes in. Raised in the orphanage, under Azura’s wing, she has committed herself and her ‘gifts’ to Azura’s service – and to wiping out those who seek to expose Marlena and the others for what they truly are
My Review                                                                                                                                                                          A great short story that starts and ends with action.
Join Marlena, as her adventure just begins.

Questions!
1. What is your plan for this series?
It’s looking to be a four or five part series, based on where it’s going in the end.
2. Should we remember all of the characters in book 1?
Yes. and there will be more introduced but mainly, we’ll be following Marlena.
3. What made you decide to write short stories?
Originally, I wrote it to submit to online magz so I could get published and start building my platform and writer credentials. And then I realized how fun they were and how fast I could write them. It’s like TV episodes to me.
4. what are the underlying ideas behind this series.
The story idea was orgininally (loosely) based on a cross between Underworld (I’d just watched the movie like two days before I wrote this) and X-men.
5. when will book 2 be out?
Sometime in April. Check my website for more info. www.heatherhildenbrand.blogspot.com

on:I have started working on a few WIP’s again 🙂 Now I am just looking for a few people to read over my shoulder 🙂
Ok, so I sent the Intro out last night to have someone read and this is the responce I got, “A trio of siblings with different gifts set in a world different from ours works for me.”
I kicked out about 20 book pages last night, and I’m looking for a BETA. I am willing to trade, or review, authors pages, or anything else here on my blog 🙂 Just keep in mind it is a WIP and I plan to have it set as a short story 😀
Hello
Posted March 15, 2011
on:Hi! This blog is my second blog and there are a few different ideas I have for it. I plan to host on both blogs, it is up to the author as to which they want. Another idea I have is for WIP, if you plan to end your WIP in publishing maybe you should post about it here, just the overview. Maybe you can start getting fans before its out!
My blogs are dedicated to the authors so I am always game to make new posts based on what you would think would help. Just leave me an email, a comment, or an IM.
I plan to make new posts on words you should know, and overly used words soon.
